Chickens love having their healthy treats of leaves, weeds and grass clippings. Chickens will spend quality time digging through whatever they're given. They will eat whatever they can and pulverize the rest. If you live in an urban, city or county neighborhood, you can give your flock a heap of yard and garden waste and within a week it should all be gone. You wouldn't even need to bag it, haul it to the curb or the dump.
