All you need to do is collect their eggs daily. You would only need to fill their food and water containers a couple times a week. On a monthly basis clean out and change their bedding in their coop. You don't need to tend to them very much. Only if you want to. You don't have to walk them, brush them or feed them twice a day like fido.
